Information on the compilation of metadata:

Person(s) compiling the metadata: Jonas Elis, Lukas Fiege, Manuel Diaz Garcia, Sabrina Jasmin Mayer, Dennis Spies, Hannah Soiné (for CILS4COVID only)

Date when the metadata was last updated: 28/10/2022

Time coverage for the surveys included (at least since 1st January 2000): 01/01/2000

If time coverage is prior to 01/01/2000, whether the inclusion of surveys prior to that date is comprehensive and exhaustive or includes only a selection of surveys of interest: N/A

For national surveys addressed to EMM respondents, whether all surveys irrespective of sample size or only those with sample size 300 or larger have been covered: Only covered surveys with a sample size of 300 or larger before weighting

For subnational surveys addressed to EMM respondents, whether all surveys irrespective of sample size or only those with sample size 150 or larger have been covered: Only covered surveys with a sample size of 150 or larger before weighting

For general population surveys with substantial sub-samples of EMM respondents, which conditions of relevance (see pg.5, section iii) have been used to decide inclusion: Given the number of EMM-targeted surveys detected and the number of general population surveys conducted in Germany, the first condition of relevance was considered. With the exception of some rare cases (e.g. GGS), general population surveys have not been covered as those detected did not have an EMM sub-sample of 800 or more individuals. It should be noted that the German delegation of the COST Action did not document any general population surveys; all such surveys were documented and added to the Registry by other parties. As such, variable 11.7 for all records corresponding to surveys handled by the German delegation have been coded as “N/A”.
