For national surveys addressed to EMM respondents, whether all surveys irrespective of sample size or only those with sample size 300 or larger have been covered: National surveys with 300 or more EMM respondents have been included.

For subnational surveys addressed to EMM respondents, whether all surveys irrespective of sample size or only those with sample size 150 or larger have been covered: Subnational surveys with 150 or more EMM respondents have mainly been included. However, in some cases, surveys with a sample size smaller than 150 respondents were included because they were considered particularly important for understanding the integration of particular EMM groups, such as undocumented migrants or migrants living in small rural settlements.

For general population surveys with substantial sub-samples of EMM respondents, which conditions of relevance (see pg.5, section iii) have been used to decide inclusion: The topics were particularly well suited for the study of integration of EMMs in that country (i.e. Greece) and these surveys included a sizeable number of EMM respondents (for the most part 300 or more individuals).
